If movies, menus, apps, and channels are visible but everything appears excessively blue, you have a blue tint.

If the television displays only a blank blue background with no visible content, you have a blue screen.

This simple observation immediately points troubleshooting in the right direction.

Troubleshooting a Blue Tint

When diagnosing a blue tint, begin with the easiest solutions first.

Reset the picture settings to factory defaults. Switch the color temperature to a warmer setting and evaluate whether the image improves. Test multiple HDMI devices and cables to eliminate external signal problems.

If the blue tint persists across all inputs, apps, and menu screens, internal hardware becomes the likely culprit.
