Westinghouse Part Numbers

How to Find Your Westinghouse TV Part Number Like a Pro

Disclaimer: There are way too many variations to list every possible example. If, after using this guide you are still not sure what parts to order, please call in to the office or email us at info@tvpartstoday.com.

If you’re diving into a DIY TV repair for your Westinghouse television, knowing exactly how to identify the correct part number is your first and most important step! Too often, people confuse board numbers with part numbers, which leads to ordering the wrong component, wasting time, and delaying your repair. Don’t worry - we’ve got your back with a breakdown of how to properly locate and read part numbers for Westinghouse power supplies, main boards, and T-con boards.

💡 TVpartsToday Tip: Always use the part number, not the board number! Part numbers are what guarantee a correct match - board numbers can look similar across different models and often don’t reflect compatibility.

PLEASE NOTE: In the following pictures, the manufacturer's part number is circled in GREEN and is the number you need to match to your part to ensure you get the correct part. The numbers marked with a RED "X" are board numbers used in the manufacturing process and matching these numbers will not guarantee a compatible part. We have not put a red "X" on all board numbers present on the parts pictured.

⚡ Power Supply Boards: Westinghouse Wattage Wizards

Westinghouse power supply boards are usually marked with a white sticker that displays several sets of numbers—but only one of them is your actual part number.

🔢 Part Number Format

The most common Westinghouse power supply part number format looks like this:

  • XXX###X-#XX-##
    For example: MIP550D-5TH-48

The second most common format is:

  • XX###X-#XX##
Keep your eyes peeled for these patterns and don’t be distracted by other serial numbers or board numbers that may appear on the sticker.

💡 TVpartsToday Tip: If you're not sure which of the numbers on your power board is the part number, snap a clear picture and email it to us - we'll ID it for you!

🧠 Main Boards: The TV's Control Center

Westinghouse main boards control your inputs, audio, video processing, and Smart TV features. When they fail, your TV might still power on, but you’ll notice no signal, no audio, or a frozen screen.

🔢 Part Number Format

  • Most common: 8-digit number starting with 1, 2, or 3
    Example: 10010977

  • Second most common: X#####-XX
    Example: B16723-02

These numbers are usually found on a white sticker somewhere on the board itself—don’t confuse them with the board number printed on the board’s surface.

💡 TVpartsToday Tip: Main board part numbers can look deceptively similar. Double-check your full TV model and any additional barcodes to ensure you're getting the exact match.

📺 T-Con Boards: Tricky but Fixable

T-Con (Timing Control) boards are the unsung heroes of your picture quality—but they can also be the most confusing to identify due to the variety of part number formats.

🔢 Part Number Format

The most common format for Westinghouse T-Con boards is:

  • ##.##X##.X##
    Example: 55.43T09.C01

  • Sometimes this number will be on the back!

T-con boards rarely have a neat, clearly labeled part number like the others. You might find the number etched into the board or printed in a small font - so bring your flashlight and patience.

💡 TVpartsToday Tip: Having trouble identifying your T-Con board part number? Email us at info@tvpartstoday.com with a photo and your TV model number - we’ll handle the hard part for you!
