Samsung Part Numbers

How to Find Your Samsung TV Part Number Like a Pro

Disclaimer: There are way too many variations to list every possible example. If, after using this guide you are still not sure what parts to order, please call in to the office or email us at info@tvpartstoday.com.

If you’re ready to tackle a DIY Samsung TV repair (💪 we love to see it!), then identifying your part correctly is the first - and most important - step. Too many customers make the common mistake of ordering a part based on the board number instead of the manufacturer’s part number… and end up with a part that doesn’t fit or function. Let’s avoid that!

Here’s how to properly identify your Samsung main board, power supply, and T-Con board using real part numbers — the TVpartsToday way!

PLEASE NOTE: In the following pictures, the manufacturer's part number is circled in GREEN and is the number you need to match to your part to ensure you get the correct part. The numbers marked with a RED "X" are board numbers used in the manufacturing process and matching these numbers will not guarantee a compatible part. We have not put a red "X" on all board numbers present on the parts pictured.

🧠 Samsung Main Boards: The Brain of Your TV

Samsung main board part numbers are typically printed on a white barcode label. The correct number to order by will begin with:

  • BN94-####X

  • BN96-####X

📛 DO NOT order using numbers like BN41 or BN97. These are board numbers used during manufacturing, and they do not guarantee compatibility.

❌ For example: BN97-06528L is a board number that could match multiple parts — not safe to use for ordering.

✅ Instead, look for a number like BN94-06039B — that’s your part number!

💡 TVpartsToday Tip: If you’re not sure which number is the part number, snap a clear photo of the board and barcode sticker and send it to us at info@tvpartstoday.com — we’ll ID it for you, no problem!

⚡ Samsung Power Supply Boards: Where the Power Flows

Power boards distribute electricity to all components in your TV, and Samsung makes their identification pretty easy — once you know what to look for!

Samsung power supply part numbers begin with:

  • BN44-####X

In some very rare cases, your power supply MIGHT begin with a BN94, but these are exceptions to the rule!

These numbers may be printed directly on the board or included in a barcode label. If it’s part of a label, the hyphen may be omitted - but don’t worry, it’s still your part number.

Example: BN44-00775A is the correct part number to search for.

❌ Do not use numbers like L40X1QV-PS or PCB numbers - they are not reliable for ordering.

💡 TVpartsToday Tip: There may be several different boards that look similar - component layout matters. That’s why ordering by part number is so important.

🖼️ Samsung T-Con Boards: Tricky But Totally Doable

T-Con (Timing Control) boards manage how pixels are displayed on your screen — super important for clear visuals!

Samsung T-Con part numbers usually follow these formats:

  • ##.##X##.X##

  • LJ94-#####X

🕵️♂️ However, you’ll often only see the last 5 numbers and the final letter on the sticker. The “LJ94” prefix may not be printed at all — you’ll need to add it when searching.

Example: If the sticker reads 39433C, the actual part number is LJ94-39433C.

🔄 Power Supply/Main Board Combos: Double Trouble (But Easy to ID!)

Now for something a little different…

In some Samsung TVs, the Power Supply and Main Board are combined into one larger unit - usually screwed or fastened together. We call these Power Supply/Main Board Combos, and they can confuse even seasoned DIYers.

The good news? Combo board part numbers almost always start with BN96 — making them a little easier to spot!

Example: BN96-46576A

If your board looks like two different parts side-by-side - with video and power connections combined - you’re probably looking at a combo board.

💡 TVpartsToday Tip: Combo boards can be pricey, but they also mean you’re replacing two components in one go. If you're not sure what you’re looking at, send us a pic - we’ll confirm and guide you to the right match.

🛑 Final Thoughts: Part Numbers Only!

With Samsung TVs, the key takeaway is simple but essential:
🟢 Use the part number.
🔴 Ignore the board number.

At TVpartsToday, we see it all — and we know just how easy it is to get tripped up by all those labels and codes. But when you shop smart and use the correct part number, you're giving yourself the best chance at a smooth, successful DIY repair.
