If you are preparing to repair your HiSense television yourself, you are already taking the smartest and most cost-effective route. At TVpartsToday, The World's #1 Hub for DIY TV Repair, we have helped countless customers avoid unnecessary delays by focusing on one critical step before any repair begins: identifying the correct part number.
HiSense TVs can be especially challenging when it comes to part identification. Many boards include multiple numbers, labels, and codes, and not all of them are useful when it comes to ordering a replacement. Understanding which number matters and where to find it is what separates a smooth repair from a frustrating one.

PLEASE NOTE: In the following pictures, the manufacturer's part number is circled in GREEN and is the number you need to match to your part to ensure you get the correct part. The numbers marked with a RED "X" are board numbers used in the manufacturing process and matching these numbers will not guarantee a compatible part. We have not put a red "X" on all board numbers present on the parts pictured.
Why Part Numbers Are the Only Reliable Identifier
Inside your HiSense TV, every board will display several numbers. Some are used during manufacturing, others are related to internal tracking, and only one is the actual part number you need for replacement.
The part number is the only identifier that guarantees compatibility with your specific television. Board numbers, serial numbers, and long printed codes may look important, but they are not reliable for ordering. Two boards can share the same board number and still function completely differently.
This is why relying on anything other than the part number can lead to receiving a component that fits physically but does not work once installed.
TVpartsToday Tip: If you are unsure which number is correct, take a clear photo of your board and its labels. A quick verification can save you time, money, and unnecessary troubleshooting.
Identifying HiSense Power Supply Boards
The power supply board is responsible for delivering consistent voltage to every component inside your TV. When it begins to fail, you may notice symptoms such as no power, intermittent shutdowns, or a TV that attempts to start but never fully turns on.
HiSense power supply boards are generally one of the easier components to identify once you know where to look. The correct part number is typically found on a white barcode sticker and is usually a six digit number. These numbers often begin with a one, two, or three. An example of a HiSense power supply board is below:
Because the board may include several longer numeric strings, it is important to focus on the clearly defined six digit identifier rather than surrounding codes. Lighting and viewing angle can make a difference, so taking a moment to inspect the board carefully is worthwhile.
Identifying HiSense Main Boards
The main board acts as the control center of your television. It manages video processing, audio output, input detection, and all smart TV functions. When this board fails, you may experience problems such as no picture, unresponsive inputs, frozen menus, or apps that fail to load.
HiSense main boards typically follow a similar identification pattern as power supply boards. The part number is usually located on a white sticker that includes a QR code. Near this QR code, you will find a six digit number that serves as the correct part identifier.
An example of a main board part number sticker (zoomed in image) is below:
It is important not to confuse this with serial numbers or other printed information on the board. The QR code label is the most reliable place to find the correct number.
TVpartsToday Tip: If you see multiple labels, focus on the one that includes the QR code. This is where HiSense most consistently places the part number for main boards.
Identifying HiSense T-Con Boards
T-Con boards are responsible for controlling how image data is delivered to the screen. When they begin to fail, you may notice visual issues such as lines across the display, distorted colors, flickering, or a completely blank screen despite having sound.
Unlike power supply and main boards, HiSense T-Con boards can be more difficult to identify because they use a wider range of labeling formats. Some follow the same six digit system, while others use a more complex format that includes multiple sections separated by periods. An example of a Hisense T-con board is below:
In some cases, the part number may not be on a sticker at all. It may be printed directly onto the board or located on the reverse side. This means you may need to remove the board or inspect it from different angles to locate the correct number.
Because of this variability, T-Con boards are one of the most common areas where misidentification occurs.
TVpartsToday Tip: If you are unsure about a T-Con number, do not guess. A quick photo and confirmation can prevent ordering the wrong part and repeating the repair process.
Avoiding Common Identification Mistakes
One of the most frequent mistakes DIYers make is assuming that any visible number on the board is the correct one. This often leads to ordering based on board numbers or internal manufacturing codes, which do not guarantee compatibility.
Another common issue is relying on the TV model number alone. While the model number can help narrow your search, it is not specific enough to ensure you receive the correct component. Many TVs within the same model line use different internal parts depending on production batch or region.
The only way to eliminate uncertainty is to match the exact part number printed on your board.
Making Your Repair Process Easier
Once you have the correct part number, the rest of the repair process becomes much more manageable. Identifying the right component ensures that installation will go smoothly and that the TV will function as expected once the repair is complete.
If you ever feel stuck or uncertain, support is always available. Whether you are dealing with a power issue, a display problem, or a connectivity failure, getting the part identification right is the foundation of a successful repair.
At TVpartsToday, The World's #1 Hub for DIY TV Repair, we are committed to helping you navigate every step of the process. From identifying the correct part to completing the installation, our goal is to make DIY TV repair accessible, reliable, and cost-effective for everyone.
